Kingfa USA Covid-19 Response

To combat the spread of COVID-19 in Michigan, Governor Whitmer signed the “Stay Home, Stay Safe”executive order. All Michigan businesses and operations must temporarily suspend operations.  Kingfa USA production was shutdown effective March 24, 2020 at 12:01 am.

Kingfa USA was able to re-opened production on May 11, 2020.   

As Michigan businesses begin the process of reopening, they must comply with the Governor Executive Order regarding “Safeguards to protect Michigan's workers from COVID-19.” 

To comply with the Executive order Kingfa USA has implemented the following:

1.All employees are required to wear a face mask while at work.

2.Each employee will get their temperature check and answer health screening questions when they arrive to work.

3.Setup an Isolation Protocol for Symptomatic employees while at work.

4.The facility was completely sanitized and disinfected before re-opening

5.Cleaning Crew scheduled has increase to 4 time a week.  (M-F).

6.Timeclocks are now touchless.  

7.Trained and posted signs for Hygiene and respiratory etiquette.

8.Setup engineering and administrative controls for social distancing. 

9.We have organized customer controls and protections for drop-off, pick-up and delivery. 

10.Created practices for housekeeping, including cleaning, disinfecting and decontamination. 

11.Trained employees on identification and isolation of sick persons. 

12.Communicate and trained managers and workers to ensure effective implementation of Safe Work Practices.

With all our efforts of maintaining social distancing and washing of hand have paid off.  We have had zero (0) reports of any employee diagnosed with Covid-19 here at Kingfa USA .
