The First Conference of Tianjin Functional Polymer Materials Industrial Technology Innovation Alliance is Held in Tianjin Kingfa

On March 12, the first conference of Tianjin Functional Polymer Materials Industrial Technology Innovation Alliance (the Alliance) was held in Tianjin Kingfa Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (Tianjin Kingfa). Wang Zhenxiang, Director of the Technology Division of Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission; Gu Qun,  researcher of Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Miao Zhiwei, the professor of Nankai University; Chen Guoxiong,  General Manager of Tianjin Kingfa; Tao Siping,  Deputy General Manager of Tianjin Kingfa; and  representatives from Rianlon, Nanyang Cable (Tianjian) Co., Ltd., Tianjin Zhongcai Profiles Co., Ltd., Tianjin Branch of Zhejiang Hua Jiang Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and FSPG Tianjin Huahan Sanitary Materials Ltd. also attended the conference.

In the conference, Director Gu Qun, Professor Miao Zhiwei and Deputy General Manager Tao Siping addressed reports on  bio-based materials, on the synthesis and application of new-type halogen-free flame retardants and on the new material industry respectively. Other representatives also made reports about their industrial development. During the conference, the participants had a deep exchange on relevant technological and industrial problems.

Director Wang Zhenxiang indicated that, as the President of the Alliance, Tianjin Kingfa shall play its positive and leading role to facilitate the industrial development, industry-university-research collaboration, industry chain coordination, etc. This conference strengthened the mutual understanding between the members of the Alliance and laid a foundation for further cooperation between members.
