Co., Ltd., said that since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, Kingfa has implemented various prevention and control measures in strict accordance with the government requirements, and actively and steadily resumed work and production after obtaining government approvement on February 10. As a polymer advanced material company, Kingfa completed the technical solution design, pilot test verification, equipment transformation, and mass production evaluation within ten days, and successfully developed an overall solution for polymer medical materials for epidemic prevention, including polypropylene materials for meltblown nonwovens, nose bridge bar, the products have been recognized by many downstream customers. Meltblown nonwovens is called the "core" of surgical masks and N95 masks. "Although currently the materials are in short supply, we promise that the Kingfa's meltblown nonwovens will be supplied exclusively to mask manufacturers during the epidemic, and we will never participate in raising prices." Yuan said.

In response to a reporter's question, Yuan said that the current polypropylene material for mask melt-blown nonwovens (M layer) produced by Kingfa has a production capacity of more than 200 t/day. At the same time, the production line transformation of domestic bases has been started, and it is expected to reach 500 t/ day in the future, which will basically solve the current shortage of materials in the downstream market, and is of great significance for solving the shortage of polymer medical materials for epidemic prevention in China.

"Over the past few months, China’s daily production capacity of masks is 20 million pieces per day, and Kingfa’s special polypropylene material for meltblown nonwovens per ton can meet the demand for 250,000 masks (for M layer). The daily production capacity of Kingfa can be used to make 50 million masks." Yuan introduced, but with the equipment increase and the rapid production, the future production capacity of our materials can be used to make 125 million masks per day, providing assistance to win the battle against epidemic prevention and control.
